Physicians Topical Formulation
AVACOR’s Physicians Topical Formulation is used topically on the scalp to retard further hair loss and to start re-growing hair.
Containing the proven hair growth medication minoxidil, the Physician’s Topical Formulation results in new hair growth
in as little as 3 months, although most will experience growth after several months.
Directions: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Apply twice daily, preferably 1 ml of a dropper per application in AM and in PM.
Do not squeeze the dropper to apply the topical solution to the scalp. If you do squeeze the dropper, too much topical solution will unnecessarily be placed on the scalp and could cause scalp irritation or undue drying of the hair.
Hold the dropper in one hand, move the hair aside with the other hand and then press the tip of the dropper against the scalp and pull the dropper back. This will leave a drop of topical solution on the scalp, which you will then rub into the scalp gently 20 times in a circular motion, finger painting '2 inch' circles with every drop.
Place your first drop on the scalp making your first 2 inch circle. Place the next drop behind that circle and make another circle, and so on, and so forth until you complete a row of back-to-back 2 inch circles, each running straight back to the vertex of your head.
Every time you finish 1 row, move over 2 inches and make another row of circles. Keep doing this method until you have covered the entire top of your scalp one time.
Note that you have substantial material left in the dropper. At this time, please put an extra drop on areas that may need more attention, and then begin making rows of circles in between the first rows of circles that you made before. Keep making rows and placing extra drops wherever needed until you run out of topical solution in the dropper.
Wait for the hair to dry and do not wet your hair again for approximately one hour after application.

Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo
The Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo is a deep cleansing shampoo designed to remove pollutants and residue from your scalp to keep it in optimal condition. The purpose of this shampoo is to cleanse and detoxify the scalp of many types of pollutants to improve the absorbency of the Physicians Topical Formulation while replenishing nutrients and conditioning your hair.
Directions: Thoroughly wet the hair and scalp with warm water. Using a small amount of Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo, gently massage the shampoo into the scalp. Rinse the hair and scalp thoroughly with warm water. Dry the hair and scalp thoroughly before applying the Physicians Topical Formulation.
*For better results it is best to use the Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo once daily for the first 7 to 10 days of treatment, then no more than 2 to 3 times a week depending on how oily your scalp may be. It is acceptable to alternate the Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo with your regular shampoo, and it can be used by all members of the family. Are there any significant side effects with AVACOR?
There are no common major side effects with the use of AVACOR. However, if you ever experience dizziness, light headedness, faintness, headaches, sudden unexplained weight gain, water retention, rapid heart beat or chest tightness/discomfort while on AVACOR, please discontinue use immediately and consult your physician.
Some common minor side effects reported have been localized scalp reactions or skin irritation (i.e., dryness, itching, redness and mild burning) with subsequent hair dryness which could exacerbate the rate of hair loss. I’ve just gotten out of the shower, what should I do?
First, towel-dry your hair well - particularly the areas that are thinning or balding. Apply the Topical Solution directly to the scalp. Then, massage the solution into the scalp for approximately 30-60 seconds as outlined in the instructions section. If you need to blow dry your hair after applying the Topical Solution, please do it gently (using low heat) allowing sufficient time for the solution to fully penetrate the scalp before blow drying.
My hair is extremely dry and brittle, will AVACOR help me?
Yes, our product contains nutrients that promote fuller, healthier, and a silkier feel and appearance to your hair.
What if I exercise and my scalp perspires?
The Topical Solution is applied twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. If you are planning on heavy exercise, it is recommended that you apply the solution after your workout to a clean scalp. If you are exercising in the evening and have applied your Topical Solution in the morning, you need not worry. The Topical Solution was absorbed when it was applied in the morning and the benefits will not be lost through scalp perspiration after several hours.
