Are there any significant side effects with Avacor® products?
There are no common major side effects with our Avacor® products. However, if you ever experience dizziness, light headedness, faintness, headaches, sudden unexplained weight gain, water retention, rapid heart beat or chest tightness/discomfort while using any Avacor® product, please discontinue use immediately and consult your physician.
Some common minor side effects reported with the Avacor Physicians Formulation® have been localized scalp reactions or skin irritation (i.e., dryness, itching, redness and mild burning) with subsequent hair dryness which could exacerbate the rate of hair loss. This could be well controlled with proper use. Occasionally, minor complaints include GI discomforts like mild heartburn, nausea, constipation and diarrhea, which in the majority of cases will subside with the continuous use as your body adapts to it.
On rare occasions, hair growth in other body areas (i.e., face, arms, back) has been reported. Remember to always consult with your physician before taking any other medications, natural supplements or when deciding to start any type of treatment program.
*NOTE: Excessive use of the Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo is not recommended. Hair loss can occur due to increased hair and scalp dryness.
